The Galant is Mitsubishi’s four-door, five-passenger, front-wheel-drive mid-sized sedan. The exterior and interior styling has the signature Mitsubishi split grille and many design cues that can be noticed in other Mitsubishi vehicles. For 2007 the Galant comes in all-new look, enhanced interior and refined ride and handling for greater comfort and a more engaging driving experience. For the current season it is available in three trim levels: DE, ES and Ralliart. The Galant Ralliart has a 258-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 that can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just seven seconds. The Galant comes with a few basic safety features as standard equipment, including a Trunk Entrapment Release, a Rear Window Defroster, and Variable Intermittent W/S Wipers.
Mitsubishi Galant Interior
The interior is designed in such a manner that it easily blends with the perforated leather-trimmed seating surfaces, heated front seats, automatic climate control system, power glass sunroof, standard Rockford Acoustic Design premium audio system with a six-month subscription of SIRIUS Satellite Radio and Homelink transmitter with auto-dimming rear view mirror. The cabin is more notable for its killer audio system and the optional navigation system’s ease of use than for any racer-esque elements. Standard safety equipment includes side-curtain airbags to the comprehensive safety package, which also includes advanced front airbags with occupant sensors and front seat-mounted side-impact airbags.
